To date,
MCC has completely mined -out panels E1, E2 and E3, and began longwall mining panel E4 during the 4`h
Quarter of 2012. At the end of the 1" Quarter of 2014 MCC had longwall mined approximately 137 feet
to the west of cross -cut seven within the Panel E4.
There were no ponds within the angle of draw of Panel E4 during the first quarter of 2014. Winter
conditions prevented routine inspections of the Forest Service roads and Monument Dam. Inspections
will continue when road and weather conditions allow. Mining was not within a mile of Monument Dam.
Should you have any questions please feel free to contact me at (970) 929 -2308.
Sincerely,
Gh.- G't,✓t.
