Watterson <br />Twentymile Coal Company <br />29515 Routt County Road #27 <br />Oak Creek, CO 84067 <br />RE: Twentymile Coal Company, Permit C -82 -056 <br />First Quarter 2014 Discharge Monitoring Report Review (Permit CO- 0027154, CO- 0036684, <br />CO- 0042161, COG - 850054, COG - 850051) <br />March 2014 Discharge Monitoring Report (CO- 0027154) <br />Dear Mr. Watterson: <br />The Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining, and Safety (CDRMS) has reviewed and found the above <br />referenced reports to be in compliance with Rule 4.05.13(2). The First Quarter Discharge Monitoring <br />Reports for the above referenced CDPS Permits were received by the Division on 24 April 2014; the <br />reports cover the time period from 01 January 2014 through 31 March 2013 and 01 March 2014 through 31 <br />March 2014 (CO- 0027154). <br />Permit CO- 0027154 - Outfalls 005A, 005W, MONS, 005Q (Pond D), 007A /007W /MON7 /007Q (Pond F), and <br />003A /003Q (Pond B) discharged during March 2014. No flows were reported during January and February <br />of the quarter. <br />No exceedances were noted for the quarter or during March 2014. <br />During the first quarter 2014 WET tests were collected for Outfalls 005. The tests indicated that the <br />effluent was not acutely toxic to Daphnia magna. <br />Permit CO- 0036684 - Outfall 001A /001W /MON1 (Site 62) did not discharge during the first quarter 2014. <br />Permit CO- 0042161 - Outfall 002A (sites 300E and 3001) discharged during the quarter, with no <br />exceedances noted.
