Drilling Activity - Topsoil and
Earthwork Volumes
This Natural Soda, Inc. (NSI) submission is in response to a DRMS request for
information regarding the amount of topsoil and subsoils to be moved during the
construction of drill pads, pipelines, and access roads relating to NSI's upcoming well
construction activity. The DRMS request for information was contained within the DRMS
Preliminary Adequacy Review of TR -35, dated April 16, 2014 and signed by Travis
Marshall of the Grand Junction DRMS office.
Earthwork (subsoils) for NSI's proposed construction of three production well pairs, two
water supply wells, and a maximum of 23 core /monitor wells is projected to have a
volume of approximately 45,507 cubic yards (cy). Topsoil volumes for the proposed
construction described above are anticipated to amount to approximately 18,734 cy.
Minor changes were made to a few of the access road acreages in the table that was
attached to the original TR -35 submission packet (no changes were made to pad
acreages or well P &A information). Similarly a volume change was made to the
Construction Layout Drawing 1 of 3 for the 14H pad. Replacement pages containing the
described changes are attached to this submission.
Should you have any questions or comments, please contact me at (970) 254 -1224 or
(970) 216 -1010 (c), or Bob Warneke at (970) 355 -4590.
Regards,
Gerald J.
