AGUA supplies the replacement water
used in both plans.
For purposes of this plan, and to assure that there is adequate replacement water available to
support the use to be supplied from the dewatering system, the total depletions at Southwest Sod
Farms will not exceed 198.79 acre -feet consisting of the individual irrigation well pumping times
their appropriate depletion factors, plus 100 percent of the dewatering system deliveries for
irrigation. If by amendment of the AGUA plan, Booth plan, or both, the new total allotted
depletions for the four irrigation wells will be the new limit.
Replacements for the AGUA and Booth irrigation well pumping will continue to be made as per
the approved Rule 14 Replacement Plan and SWSP respectively, however, those replacement
requirements will be less since less well pumping will be used as water is supplied via the Evans
#2 dewatering system pipeline.
Replacements for stream depletions resulting from Evans 32 dewatering system deliveries for
irrigation will be made by AGUA using any fully consumable sources available to it that can be
delivered to the Arkansas River between Pueblo Reservoir and Chico Creek. The sources
available for this replacement use include fully consumable water stored in Pueblo Reservoir,
recharge credits derived from prior recharge of fully consumable water and other fully
consumable leased water delivered to the Arkansas River in the reach described above.
Please let me know if you have any questions, or require anything further in order to approve the
amended SWSP.
Sincerely,
DEERE & AULT CONSULTANTS, INC.
G4' '7 J ,i. , . , a
Mark A.
