DEVELOPMENT STANDARDS - (USR #1687) <br />PAGE 2 <br />13. Sewage disposal for this facility shall be by septic system. Any septic system located on <br />the property must comply with all provisions of the Weld County Code, pertaining to <br />Individual Sewage Disposal Systems. <br />14. Portable toilets may be utilized on sites which are temporary locations of the working <br />face and portable processing equipment, etcetera, for up to six months at each location. <br />15. Bottled water shalt be provided to employees at the temporary locations of the working <br />face and portable processing equipment at all times. <br />16. A permanent, adequate water supply shall be provided for drinking and sanitary <br />purposes at the batch plants and office locations at ail times. <br />17. The applicant shall comply with the Drinking Water section of the Water Quality Control <br />Division of the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment, if applicable. <br />18. The facility shall be operated in a manner to prevent odors. Odors detected off the site <br />shall not equal, or exceed, the level of fifteen -to -one dilution threshold, as measured <br />pursuant to Regulation 2 of the Colorado Air Pollution Control Regulations. Additional <br />controls shall be implemented, at the request of the Weld County Department of Public <br />Health and Environment, in the event odor levels detected off the site meet, or exceed, <br />the level of fifteen- to-one dilution threshold, or, in the judgment of the Weld County <br />Health Officer, there exists an odor condition requiring abatement. <br />19. The applicant shall remove, handle, and stockpile overburden, soil, sand, and gravel <br />from the facility area in a manner that will prevent nuisance conditions. <br />20. All potentially hazardous chemicals must be stored and handled in a safe manner in <br />accordance with product labeling, and in a manner that minimizes the release of <br />hazardous air pollutants and volatile organic compounds. <br />21. If applicable, the applicant shall obtain a Stormwater Discharge Permit from the <br />Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment, Water Quality Control Division. <br />22. The operation shall comply with all applicable rules and regulations of the Colorado <br />Division of Reclamation, Mining, and Safety. <br />23. The operation shall comply with all applicable rules and regulations of state and federal <br />agencies and the Weld County Code. <br />24. Sources of light shall be shielded so that light rays will not shine directly onto adjacent <br />properties where such would cause a nuisance or interfere with the use on the adjacent <br />properties, In accordance with the plan. Neither the direct nor reflected light from any <br />light source may create a traffic hazard to operators of motor vehicles on public or <br />private streets. No colored lights may be used, which may be confused with, or <br />construed as, traffic control devices. <br />25.
