Pitch Reclamation Project Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Board — 2013 Annual Reclamation Report <br />5. INSPECTIONS <br />An inspection was conducted by DRMS on September 5, 2013. During the inspection the presence of <br />Canadian Thistle was observed on the small area on the east wall of the North Pit In addition, Scentless <br />Chamomile (Matricaria perforate) was observed in a small area on the upper part of the Tie Camp Creek <br />Rock Dump. Both areas showed a large reduction in both noxious weeds between 2012 and 2013. <br />Pest Away was brought on site again in 2013 to assist with noxious weed control. All areas in question <br />were sprayed using 7 oz/acre Milestone with Tear XP and 1.5 oz/acre Escort XP w /R -11 Activator.
