Erosion control efforts took place during this reporting <br />period following any precipitation (snow removal and runoff from melting snow and ice). <br />CQA ACTIVITIES: <br />i) Field Activities: Observation of construction activities during this reporting period included: Slope grading and fill <br />placement; Ambient and fill temperature monitoring and recording; Underground working remediation and confirmatory <br />drilling; Production drilling and blasting; Water pond construction; Testing and sampling for %2:1 slope grout, SF, DCF <br />and SLF; Geophysical surveying; 100 -mil LLDPE SSMS and smooth geomembrane delivery and inventory. <br />u) Laboratory Activities: Laboratory testing continued with Permeability, Particle Size Distribution, Atterberg Limits, <br />Moisture - Density relationships, gradations, material classification, identifications, and field material sampling were <br />performed during this reporting period. <br />The following samples were collected and returned to AMEC's laboratory for analysis: <br />Structural fill sample numbers SF -68R through SF -69R <br />Drain Cover Fill sample DCF 70 <br />Soil Liner Fill sample number SLF 129 -S through SF -134S <br />Cast grout cubes for strength testing from the %:1 slope <br />Cast concrete cylinders for strength testing from the water stand pond. <br />Note: Samples labeled with the suffix "R" are samples of Record I QA samples; those without are QC samples. <br />General Proiect Items <br />Meetings and Discussions: <br />The kickoff meeting for the PSSA Geophysics survey occurred with AMEC, CC &V, and Ames on April 7, 2014. <br />A Highway 67 meeting occurred with AMEC, CC &V, CDOT, and Ames on April 7, 2014. The meeting addressed <br />the in place punch list items. <br />The Contractor Meeting occurred on April 9, 2014 with CC &V Projects, AMEC, and Ames. <br />Summary of Concerns: None. <br />CC &V: Daily updates, reporting and scheduling are some of the tasks occurring between CC &V Projects, AMEC, and Ames. <br />Miscellaneous: <br />Drain cover fill processing continued. <br />Rip rap processing continued. <br />Work on the Water Stand Pond continued. <br />Geophysical surveying began in the PSSA. <br />Deliveries: <br />One (1) truckload consisting of 10 rolls of 100 mil LLDPE SSMS geomembrane and 2 rolls of 100 -mil smooth LLDPE <br />geomembrane were delivered to the site, recorded, and inventoried.
