The first quarter sediment pond inspection reports and the pond capacity data
were received by the Division on April 3, 2014. Sediment pond inspections were conducted by
TMI on March 17th and 19th, 2014. This report appears to be in compliance with the applicable
sections of Rule 4.05.9(17).
The report indicated No Name 42 sediment pond is at a 70% sediment level. Section 4.8.1.4 of
Trapper's permit indicates that all sediment control systems, except Coyote, with 60% or more of
the sediment storage volume used following spring runoff will have the sediment removed in the
same year. The fourth quarter, 2013 sediment pond inspection report indicates No Name 42
sediment pond was at a 70% sediment level. The time has come for this pond to be cleaned.
No maintenance items were reported.
Sincerely,
Jared Ebert
Environmental Protection Specialist, DRMS
Jared.Ebert(a(state.CO.us
OF CpGO
1313 Sherman Street, Room 215, Denver, CO 80203 P 303.866.3567 F 303.832.8106 http: / /mining.state.co.us I
John W.
