Box 2427 <br />Fort Collins, Colorado 80522 <br />Re: Connell Resources, Inc., Connell Carr Pit, File No. M- 2014 -001 <br />112c Permit Application Second Adequacy Review <br />Mr. Schenderlein, <br />The Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety (Division) has reviewed the content of the <br />Connell Resources, Inc. 112c adequacy letter response dated April 7, 2014 for the Connell <br />Carr Pit, File No. M- 2014 -001 and submits the following comments. The Division is <br />required to make an approval or denial decision no later than April 21, 2014 therefore; a <br />response to the following adequacy review concerns should be submitted to the Division as <br />soon as possible. <br />1. The Applicant response is adequate. <br />2. As required by Rule 1.6.2 (e), please submit proof of the notice to all owners of record <br />of surface and mineral rights of the affected land and the owners of record of all land <br />surface within 200 feet of the boundary of the affected land including all easement <br />holders located on the affected land and within 200 feet of the boundary of the affected <br />land. Proof of notice may be return receipts of a Certified Mailing or by proof of <br />personal service. <br />The Division did not receive proof of notice for the following landowner and structure <br />owners: <br />a. L.G. Everist, Inc. <br />b. Deporter, Arvid R. <br />3. Please respond the comments noted in the letter from Platte River Power Authority and <br />make any changes to the application as necessary. <br />6.4 SPECIFIC EXHIBIT REQUIREMENTS - REGULAR 112 OPERATIONS <br />The following items must be addressed by the Applicant in order to satisfy the <br />requirements of C.R.S. 34- 32.5 -101 et seq. and the Mineral Rules and Regulations of the <br />Mined Land Reclamation Board: <br />o <br />1313 Sherman Street, Room 215, Denver, CO 80203 P 303.866.3567 F 303.832.8106 http: / /mining. state.co.us <br />John W.
