Liner design and quality control
plan are included as Attachment A and Attachment B, respectively.
1. According to Blue Earth Solutions (BES) December 2013 report, Table 1 on page
3, bedrock elevation varies between 4488 and 4501 feet above mean sea
level. Non - dewatered static groundwater elevation was established by BES
at approximately 20 feet above bedrock.
2. The pit floor of Phase I Parcel 2 is backfilled to 15 feet above bedrock. To achieve
backfill elevation to two feet above static water level, approximately seven
feet of backfill or 100,000 yd will be necessary. Phase I Parcel 4 pit floor is
backfilled to approximately five feet above bedrock.
6.4.12 Exhibit L: Reclamation Costs
3. Tables 2 and 3 are Fremont's reclamation cost estimates for phases not intended
-° to be reclaimed as lined water storage (Tables 2 and 3). ASI provided liner
construction estimate for Parcel 4 of Phase I and Phase III (Tables 4 and 5).
4. Fremont Paving commits to Division notification and posting appropriate
additional bond prior to entering the next phase of mining.
C n \0 /iionq Mq eo L Lcc rrnat \V /e Ilnc„
Page 1 of 6 1107 Main Street, Canon City, CO 81212
www.envalternatives.com • e -mail: eai @bresnan.net
Phone: 719 - 275 -8951 • Fax: 719 - 275 -1715
