RE: Public Access Program Land Affected by Proposed Gravel Operation (Carr Public Access Parcel — Weld County)
Dear Ms. Leinhardt,
This letter concerns private land that has been part of the Public Access Program lease, an interagency agreement between the State Board
of Land Commissioners and Colorado Parks & Wildlife. Through this lease, the general public is allowed limited access to certain parcels of
state trust land, and on rare occasions private property (through a separate agreement), for wildlife related recreation (hunting).
All parties to the lease have agreed to remove the parcel of private property affected by the proposed gravel operation (expansion) from the
Public Access Program lease. Additionally, the State Land Board has no comment, or objections, regarding the proposed gravel operation.
