April 4, 2014 <br />Page 2 <br />4) A description of how the fluids will be managed, including storage and disposal of <br />such fluids <br />a) All fluids will be stored in containments. Used oil and coolants will be stored in <br />bulk tanks in containments with clear and defined labeling. The used oil and <br />coolant will be drained when full by Raptor Used Oil Company. <br />5) A description of how minor spills will be cleaned up. <br />a) Minor spills in the soil will be captured with contaminated soil and stored on a <br />tarp and properly disposed of. <br />b) in the event of future soil staining, the impacted soils will be removed immediately <br />and drummed or stockpiled and disposed of once an adequate amount is generated <br />6) A commitment to provide the Division with a final report with the appropriate <br />maps, volume of soil removed, sample locations, analytical data and photographic <br />documentation. <br />a) The Mining and Reclamation map dated 01/22/14 will be used to define the <br />concerned areas. The eastern section of D6 and western section of D5 <br />identifies the area were the concerned area is. Approximately 200 yards of <br />soil has be removed from the area described in section D6 east and D5 west <br />and place on an appropriate tarp in section C5 The soil sample results will be <br />e- mailed to Michael Cunningham at michael.cunningham @state.co.us and <br />David Foster at david.w.foster @state.co.us on Monday April 7, 2014 from <br />John Drafts at idd @palmetto - environmental.com <br />7) A commitment to provide the Division with evidence in the form of a receipt that <br />the contaminated soil was disposed of by an approved method. <br />a) The contaminated soil has not been removed at this time. The contaminated <br />soil will be removed upon approved method.
