6 (FORM 2 - Public filing) <br />Describe the estimated topsoil depth and how topsoil will be salvaged, stockpiled and redistributed for the re- establishment of <br />vegetation. Specify approximate topsoil redistribution depth: <br />TOPSOIL VARRIES IN DEPTH FROM NONE TO APPROXIMATELY 6 INCHES. SOIL IS WELL DRAINED AND SOIL PROFILE IS <br />WEAKLY DEFINED WITH HORIZONS 0 AND A GENERALLY THIN. ALL TOPSOIL WILL BE REMOVED TO A DEPTH OF 18 INCHES <br />AND BE STORED TO THE SIDE AND ABOVE THE EXCAVATION. NON - ORGANIC SUBSOILS AND GRUS WILL BE STORED SEPARTELY. <br />itECLAMAT /m WILL PROCEED IN REVERSE ORDER WITH TOPSOILS SPREAD EVENLY ON THE SURFACE AND THEN FURROWED <br />TO HELP RETAIN MOISTURE AND IMPROVE RECOVERY. REPLACED SOILS SHOULD PROVIDE AND ORGANIC LAYER OF 4 <br />INCHES IN AVERAGE. BOULDERS AND ANY DEAD TIMBER WILL BE PLACED CROSS SLOPE TO HELP STABILIZE AND CAPTURE <br />ANY MOISTURE. <br />Describe how drill holes will be plugged (refer to Rule 5.4 of the Rules for required abandonment procedures): <br />aA - <br />Describe how portals, adits, shafts, ponds, excavations, or other disturbances will be reclaimed (refer to Rule 3 and Rule 5 for <br />specific reclamation performance standards). You may wish to contact the Division for closure specifications. <br />HEAVY WASTE ROCK AND GRUS WILL BE RETURNED FIRST TO THE EXCAVATION AND RECONTOURED. SOME FURROWS <br />WILL BE CUT TO TRAP ANY MOISTURE SOIL WILL BE PLACED EVENLY ON TOP ANY BOULDERS OR LOGS WILL BE <br />WORKED BACK INTO THE FORMER EXCAVATION CROSS SLOPE AS WELL AS TO GIVE A NATURAL APPEARANCE. <br />Describe how roads will be reclaimed or returned to their pre - prospecting (or better) condition: <br />THE WALK -IN TRACKS AND DISTURBANCES WILL BE SMOOTHED USING THE TRACK HOE BUCKET, BUT LEAVING SMALL <br />RIDGEES TO CAPTURE MOISTURE Amp HOLD SEED THE ACCESS TRACKS WILL BE TAKEN OUT AFTER THE EXCAVATIONS_ ARE <br />RECLAIMED UNLESS A MINING PERMIT HAS BEEN APPLIED FOR AND RECEIVED FOR POSSIBLE FUTURE OPERATIONS <br />
