Exhibit D
Reclamation Plan: Partial reclamation will occur at the end of each mining season during mining
operations, as is feasible. The natural slopes o n the site are significantly steeper that a 3:1 grade. To
maintain the natural aspects of the alpine environment and to reduce the impact of post — mining
grading, the slopes will be reclaimed as an approximation to the natural pre- mining slope grades. After
mining is completed, excavations and dig sites will be filled with remaining overburden and topsoil as
available. As recommended by the Western Native Seed company, the recommended seed mix would
be slender wheat grass at 20 lbs. per acre.
Reclamations Cost: The cost estimate is based on the maximum excavation and disturbance at any
possible time (worst case). Worst Case: 2 acres disturbed, overburden and topsoil stockpiled on the
work benches near dig areas. Roads or trails will be created that will need to be reclaimed.
Mobilization of work crews: 2 hrs. each way x 2 men at $25 /hr. for 7 days: $1400.00
Backfill excavations: 2 men x 8hrs /daffy at $40 /hr for 5 days: $3200.00
Spread topsoil by hand: 2 men x 8 hrs /day at $40 /hr for 1 day: $640.00
Seeding Materials: 20lbs. per acre x 2 acres at $5.401b.: $216.00
Broadcasting Seeding: 2 men x 8 hrs /day at $40 /hr for 1 day: $640.00
Total Estimated Reclamation Cost: $5456.00
