MANAGEMENT <br />On behalf of Bowie Resources, LLC, BRL, enclosed is an application for a minor revision <br />to provide for the installation of two 18" flumes along the West Fork of Terror Creek so <br />low flow can be accurately measured. One flume will be installed upstream and an <br />optional flume will installed midstream. About 1.5 cubic yards of concrete is required to <br />anchor each flume. <br />Right of EoW <br />The upstream flume will be located above Stevens Gulch Road on property managed by <br />the USDA -FS. The optional midstream flume will be located on land owned by BRL in <br />the NW /4NE /4 of Section 6. The USDA -FS granted its approval for flume installation by <br />an e-mail to Art Etter dated November 5, 2013. <br />Affected and Disturbed Area <br />There will be only minimal disturbance associated with the flume installation. Neither <br />flume is within the permit boundary. <br />Cultural Resources, Soils & Vegetation <br />A cultural resource inventory has been preformed on the area where the flumes will be <br />installed. The cultural resource report is part of the PR -14 application. A cultural <br />resource inventory may not be technically required since there is so little disturbance. <br />Soils and vegetation information is not provided since there will be only minimal <br />disturbance associated with the project. <br />
