The Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety, in accordance with Title 34, Article 33, of the
Colorado Revised Statutes, hereby issues notice that on March 4, 2014, a minor revision application
(MR -147) to the Bowie No. 2 Mine, Permit No. C- 1996 -083, operated by Bowie Resources, LLC,
P.O. Box 483, Paonia, CO 81428 was considered complete for the purposes of filing. Bowie
Resources, LLC is proposing to stockpile gob in designated areas on Gob Pile #3 until weather
conditions allow for controlled placement and compaction. Waste material will be placed in windrows
for temporary storage on Gob Pile #3 until April 15, 2014; all temporarily stockpiled material will be
properly placed and compacted no later than September 30, 2014. All reviews and comment periods as
provided in the Act and Regulations promulgated thereunder initiate from this date of filing.
