OPERATION IS PLANNED TO REOPEN FOR COAL MINING AND REMOVAL, THE <br />OPERATOR SHALL SUBMIT A PERMIT REVISION, RECEIVE APPROVAL FOR, AND <br />SUBMIT ANY INCREASE IN RECLAMATION BOND, PRIOR TO ANY ADDITIONAL <br />DISTURBANCE OF LANDS WITHIN THE PERMIT AREA. <br />Since the last Permit Renewal, RN -02, in September 2008, two technical revisions and two <br />minor revisions have been approved. A further technical revision application has been submitted, <br />but not yet approved. On May 7, <br />2012 the Division received an application for permit renewal (RN -03) from NECC. <br />On May 9 the Division found the application complete. Notification of the filing of a complete <br />application for permit renewal was sent to the appropriate governmental agencies, including the <br />Las Animas County Planning Office, Las Animas County Commissioners, Colorado Water <br />Quality Control Division, Colorado Air Pollution Control Division, Colorado Division of Water <br />Resources, US Natural Resources Conservation Service, US Army Corps of Engineers and the <br />US Office of Surface Mining. <br />
