However, I submitted a sketch
dated June 2012, titled "Cross Sectional View of 1St North, 2 "d North and West
Submains ", to Janet at approximately that time. Pursuant to the above meeting, (3- 11 -14)
I have updated that sketch (copy enclosed) to include the measurement recorded by the
DRMS' remote down hole camera which is 353 ft from the top of the well casing to
partial obstruction. That distance calculates to 5879.7 ft elevation of the partial
obstruction in the well. Elevations of the mine workings are from the Southfield Mine
Permanent Closure Map and from respective drill hole log data. The map establishes the
elevation of the `roof' of the mine workings at MW -NW at 5860.5.
The cross - sectional view of the sketch also depicts the relative elevations of the
mine workings elevations as related to MW -NW. It simplifies the understanding of the
depth of the mine workings (lowest point, 5265 ft elevation) as compared to the elevation
of the partial obstruction in the well (5879.7 ft) which is a difference of over 614 vertical
ft. One can understand why geohydrologic consultants predict that for the mine to refill
or reach equilibrium, would take 200 — 300 years.
The DRMS camera confirmed that the well casing is 8 inch diameter steel casing
for 17 ft where it then reduces to 6 inch diameter steel casing and is clear down to the
elevation of the partial obstruction. Concerning the depth of the well, I have enclosed a
copy from the Southfield Exhibit 25, Hydrologic Monitoring Plan (page 4 in highlights)
which states the depth of the well installed was 380 ft with a completion zone of 360 —
380 ft.
I hope this helps clarify some of the questions about MW -NW, if you have any
further questions or need additional information please contact me.
Sincerely,
t. t
eorge Patterson
Energy Fuels Coal, Inc.
Enclosures: Mine Sketch & Page 4 of Exhibit 25
