All the required information is shown on the attached
Mining Plan map. Payment for the annual fee of $791.00 is attached in the form of a check
(Check No. 231757).
The current extent of the landfill was measured by performing a survey on March 7, 2014.
During the twenty -first year of operation, 0.18 additional acres were affected. The total current
affected area is 24.22 acres (including 3.99 acres that have been reclaimed, but are incomplete
and/or unreleased reclamation). Approximately 3.45 acres are currently being actively mined in
Phases 1, 2, 4, 5 and 6. In 2014, mining may be expanded in Phases 5 and 6. Reclamation has
occurred in the areas shown on the map; 3.99 acres have been top soiled, fertilized and reseeded.
No additional acreage was reclaimed in 2013, and there are currently no plans to reclaim
additional acreage in 2014. Construction debris has been used as backfill for approximately 3.09
acres of Phase 2; approval of construction debris as a backfill material was approved as Revision
No. TR -3 of the mining permit in 2003, and was also approved by CDPHE in 2009.
We anticipate that the enclosed report, check, and map meet your requirements.
