March 10, 2014 C- 1981 -033 /13ear Mine SLB <br />The access bridge continues to deteriorate. Holes in the east abutment end of the bridge now extend a few <br />feet in from either side of the bridge, and there are parallel cracks the in the pavement on both ends. Vehicular <br />access has been blocked to ensure public safety, but at the time of the inspection a person was seen walking across <br />the bridge from the eastern side. The person indicated that the bridge continues to be used to access the North <br />Fork for fishing. The access road from SH 133 to the bridge was in fair condition; the asphalt is beginning to <br />crack. <br />ENFORCEMENT ACTIONS /COMPLIANCE <br />No enforcement actions were initiated as a result of this inspection, nor are any pending. <br />PHOTOGRAPHS <br />Backfilled portal slope - concrete slab has toppled downhill.
