D.3 of the permit. The term "construction activity" includes <br />ground surface disturbing activities, including, but not limited to, clearing, grading, excavation, demolition, <br />installation of new or improved haul and access roads, staging areas, stockpiling of fill materials, and borrow <br />areas. " Stormwater" is precipitation - induced surface runoff. CHANGES IN THIS GENERAL PERMIT <br />Several notable changes from the previous General Permit for Construction Activities have been incorporated into <br />this permit. Significant changes are listed below. Numerous other minor changes were made for clarification <br />purposes only. <br />A. Authority to Discharge <br />This section has been restructured to list all of the types of activities covered by this permit, and to be <br />consistent with the definition of "construction activity. " The definition of construction activity has been <br />expanded to provide clarification.
