March 4, 2014 C- 1981 - 010 /Trapper Mine BFB <br />Johnson # l OR was mostly covered with ice and was discharging. A sample was collected (photo 3). The <br />embankment was vegetated and appeared to be stable. The primary spillway was free and clear of obstructions. <br />West Pyeatt 42 contained water but was not discharging. <br />Middle Pyeatt #3 was dry. <br />East Pyeatt 43 was discharging and a sample was taken (photo 4). The embankment was vegetated and appeared <br />to be stable. The primary spillway was free and clear of obstructions. <br />Oak 42 was discharging and a sample was taken. The embankment was vegetated and appeared to be stable <br />(photo 5). The primary spillway was free and clear of obstructions. <br />Middle Flume 43 was discharging and a sample was taken. The embankment appeared to be stable. The primary <br />spillway was free and clear of obstructions (photo 6). <br />East Middle Flume was not discharging. The embankment was vegetated and appeared to be stable. <br />East Flume was dry. <br />Horse 1 was snow covered and not discharging. There was standing water in the flume but no flow was observed <br />(photo 7) . <br />Horse West was snow covered and not discharging (photo 8). <br />GENERAL MINE PLAN COMPLIANCE: <br />East A pit was observed and water was not being discharged at the time of this inspection. <br />The Queen Anne dragline was active at the time of this inspection. The Baby Doe and Molly Brown draglines <br />were both idle. <br />ROADS — Rule 4.03 Construction 4.03.1(3)/4.03.2(3) Drainage 4.03.1(4)/4.03.2(4) Surfacing and <br />Maintenance4.03.1(5) and (6)/4.03.2(5) and (6) Reclamation 4.03.1(7)/4.03.2(7): <br />The main haul road between the power plant and the active pit area was well maintained and being <br />watered. <br />The access road to the ash pit was well maintained. <br />The access road to the Horse Pond was partly snow covered and muddy. <br />RECLAMATION SUCCESS - Rule 4.15, Rule 3: <br />The reclaimed areas were not inspected due to snow cover and muddy conditions. <br />Number of Partial Inspection this Fiscal Year: 6 <br />Number of Complete Inspections this Fiscal Year: 3 <br />Page 3 of 5 <br />
