Dear Mr. Caccamise,
On February 28, 2014, the Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety (Division) received a Notice of
Intent (NOI) to Conduct Prospecting Operations for Hard Rock Mines Application from Sierta LLC, File
No. P- 2014 -003. Preliminary review of the information received determined that the following items
must be received before the Division can consider your application as being submitted and technical
review can begin:
The Applicant did not provide a financial warranty and applicable financial warranty form. As
required by Rule 4.2.6, upon filing the NOI, the prospector shall provide a financial warranty in the
amount of two thousand dollars per acre of land to be disturbed. The Applicant has stated that 0.5
acres of land will be disturbed; therefore, you must submit a financial warranty in the amount of
$2,000.00. Please contact the Division to obtain the appropriate financial warranty form.
Please be advised that if these items have not been addressed within sixty (60) days of the date of this
letter (May 5, 2014), the Division may terminate the NOI Application in accordance with Rule 5.1.3(c).
The Division's notification process, review period of the NOI and associated Financial Warranty, and the
public comment period will not commence until this information is submitted by the applicant.
