Reclamation Permit Amendment Application Package (AM02)
Dear Mr. Bower:
On February 21, 2014, the Division of Reclamation, Mining & Safety received the Construction Materials
Limited Impact (1 l Oc) Reclamation Permit Application (AM02) package for the Ross Pit, Permit No.
M- 1990 -134. A preliminary review of the information received determined that the following items
(unchecked) must be received before the Division can consider the application submitted and the
technical review can begin:
Application Form:
❑ Please submit one (1) original and two (2) copies of the amendment application required by Rule
1.10.1(2).
❑ Item 3: Change from 6.84 acres to 6.92. According to Division records, the current permitted
acreage is 6.92 acres.
❑ Item 3.2: The addition of 2.64 acres added to 6.92 acres will amount to 9.56 acres.
6.3.10 Exhibit X Proof of Mailing of Notices to Board of County Commissioners and Soil
Conservation District
❑ Proof that notice of the permit application was sent to the Board of County Commissioners and, if
the mining operation is within the boundaries of a Soil Conservation District, to the Board of
Supervisors of the local Soil Conservation District, pursuant to Subparagraph 1.6.2(lxa)(ii).
Note: Proof of notice shall be in the form of a return receipt of a certified mailing or a date
stamped copy of the notice acknowledging receipt by the appropriate local Board. Notice
must be given to the Moffat County Board of Commissioners and the Colorado First
Conservation District.
