Water Information
The Revenue Mine surface water control structures around the Atlas waste pile have been
revised to reflect the new pile configuration. Additionally, Sediment Pond 1 has been redesigned
to accommodate its new location and smaller drainage area. The revised Appendix 6 contains all
of these new designs, along with the unchanged designs for the rest of the mine.
Ditches Collection #1, 2, Diversion #1, and #1B have been revised due to the changes in the
Atlas waste pile area. Appendix 6 shows
DRMS Bond Calculation
The reduction in the size of the Atlas Waste pile will not lead to a change in the worst case
reclamation scenario. The worst case scenario will still be at the point that the Revenue waste
pile has been recently regarded, which is the time of greatest area requiring topsoil. Therefore,
the bond does not need to be recalculated.
