The trench was found to be backfilled in accordance with design <br />drawings and project specifications. <br />C) Geomembrane Acceptance <br />1) VLF <br />Primary 100mil geomembrane (P -317 thru P -335 and P -342 thru P -355) shown on Figure 4 <br />was inspected by AMEC and Lonestar representatives, found to be installed within project <br />specifications and acceptable for continued construction activities. <br />D) Geomembrane Delivery <br />1) VLF <br />Four loads (44 rolls of 80mil and 4 rolls of 40mil) of LLDPE geomembrane rolls were <br />delivered to site during the shift. The loads were delivered on flat bed trucks in good condition. <br />The rolls were unloaded using a CAT 950 front -end loader with forks attached. The <br />geomembrane was placed on three pieces of HDPE pipe, stacked two rolls high. An AMEC <br />field representative inventoried the geomembrane and was present at all times during <br />unloading of the geomembrane. <br />CQA ACTIVITIES: <br />SUMMARY: <br />The CQA activities performed consisted of observing, documenting and recording the construction <br />activities of the contractor. <br />AMEC observed structural fill placement within the Phase 5 VLF fill area. <br />AMEC inspected and approved subgrade prior to geomembrane deployment. <br />AMEC observed, logged data, and assisted in the installation of geomembrane within the Phase 5 VLF. <br />AMEC observed and inspected anchor trench backfill. <br />AMEC observed the installation of the low volume solution collection system. <br />AMEC constantly monitored the LVSCF placement. Samples were also obtained of placed LVSCF. <br />AMEC observed, obtained samples, and assisted in the process of DCF material at the DCF Process area. <br />AMEC continuously monitored the DCF placement. <br />AMEC observed the installation of the high volume solution collection system. <br />AMEC observed the placement of the high volume solution collection riser bases. <br />VLF Weekly Report WE 09.25.10.1) <br />
