ATTACHMENT 1 <br />SPECIFIC SUBMITTAL REQUIREMENTS <br />SECTION 3.1) AND SECTION 7 <br />Introduction <br />This amendment to the Cripple Creek & Victor Gold Mining Company ( "CC &V ") <br />Mining Development Plan ( "MDP ") is submitted in conformance with the requirements <br />of the Teller County Land Use regulations for precious metal mining within the Cripple <br />Creek Mining Overlay District ( "CCMOD "). These regulations, effective as of <br />January 1, 2008, are Appendix A of the Teller County Land Use Regulations <br />(Appendix A). The MDP includes documentation required specifically for an <br />amendment of a MDP pursuant to Section 8 of Appendix A. This application includes <br />information required under Section 3 and meets the standards of Section 7 of <br />Appendix A. <br />The attached Table 1 relists the requirements of Appendix A, and identifies the location <br />within this application that includes the information required in the MDP. Where <br />appropriate, this application refers to the submittal made by CC &V to the Office of <br />Mined Land Reclamation ( "OMLR ") application for the Cresson Project Mine Life <br />Extension 2 ( "MLE2 "). The project description provided in this document is identical to <br />the project description in the OMLR application. <br />Following the project description, specific information is provided to address submittal <br />requirements for a MDP amendment. Volume I of this application contains studies <br />conducted to support this plan; including a traffic study, a noise analysis, a visual <br />resource analysis, a socioeconomic report, a drainage report and historic resources <br />information. <br />A copy of the OMLR application for MLE2 is provided to Teller County as part of this <br />application CCMOD Sections 3.E1 and 2 require notification to the County, in writing, of <br />any formal comment periods or public meetings held in regards to state and/or federal <br />regulatory permit, licenses and/or approvals. Copies of all permit related correspondence <br />from or to state and federal regulatory agencies will be made available to the County at <br />CC &V's administrative office in Victor. Copies of other permit applications, along with <br />notices of public comment periods and/or public hearings, required for MLE2 will be <br />submitted under separate cover to Teller County.
