3.0 GEOSYNTHETICS INSTALLATION
Geosynthetics installed in the Phase 413/4C Triangle area consisted of 100 -mil single sided
texture LLDPE geomembrane. The LLDPE geomembrane was manufactured by Poly -Flex of
Grand Prairie, Texas. Geomembrane installation activities included deployment, seaming, and
non - destructive and destructive testing of 100 -mil single sided texture LLDPE geomembrane.
Lonestar installed approximately 8,000 square feet of geomembrane, including geomembrane in
the anchor trench and overlap.
Geomembrane was placed on compacted and approved SLF. Ames anchored geomembrane at
the limits of the VLF, where applicable, in an anchor trench a minimum of 3 feet deep by 2 feet
wide.
