Per our conversation I would like to first
address the section on page two of the inspection report regarding C.R.S. 34- 32.5 -116 (4) (q)(1).
I would like to address your finding that the site has not been reclaimed and there has been no activity
at the site over the last ten years. We do not operate the mine commercially, but we do allow the County
and local residents to remove materials to repair their roads and for other uses that they may need
throughout the year. We do not charge anything for this. The activity at the mine is minimal and less
than 180 days per year.
I have included with this letter the application for Technical Revision Application For Intermittent
Status of permit M- 2003 -068 to Intermittent Operation along with the fee of $216.00.
With regards to section 3.1.12 (1), the mine identification sign, it has been installed and a photo is
attached herewith.
If you have any questions or need any additional information please contact me. My direct line is 303-
383 -7909. You can also reach me on my cell at 720 - 480 -2200.
Re arg ds,
Ed Sullivan
S-
Walker & Associates
420 E. 58" Ave.
Denver, CO 80216
esullivan@wcg-corp.com
REGe1VPF-'
FEB 19 2U 14
Division of Reciamalu
Mining & Safety
