On February 13, 2014 the Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety (Division) received your
2014 Annual Report. The following discrepancies were noted:
I. Item 4 — No mining activity for more than one year (last activity August 2011).
Discrepancy — Pursuant to C.R.S. § 34- 32.5- 103(11)(b); Rule 1.13.5(1) and the
Division's February 28, 2013 letter, "Review of Current Permit Status Regarding
Temporary Cessation "; Operators must file a notice of Temporary Cessation (TC)
whenever they intend to, or do, temporarily cease production for more than a one year
period.
Action Required — File a notice of Temporary Cessation (TC) by March 19, 2014. A
form is attached for your convenience.
II. Item 21 — A map was included in the report. However, it appears to be the map for the
McKenzie Pit (M- 1980 -244).
Discrepancy — the map included is not for the Fremont Paving & Redi -Mix Pit.
Action Required — Please submit the correct map by March 19, 2014.
