Berry, David
From: Chris Kamper [CKamper @cksmb.com]
Sent: Tuesday, June 07, 2011 5:37 PM
To: Berry, David
Subject: Update
Dave,
By way of update, I expect to get you a written response and several documents pertaining to the Turner complaint
about haying /revegetation activities either tomorrow or Thursday.
Also, Ross Gubka met with Buckshot Burbridge and Ward Burbridge today to discuss their issues. These are complex and
may take some time to work through to a satisfactory solution, but WFC has at least started the process.
Finally, something you may be less happy to hear. WFC has decided it can no longer tolerate Ms. Turner's presence on
lands that WFC owns. Currently, Turner has a contractual relationship with a farmer (Stan Garvey) to conduct haying
activities on WFC's property. However, she was harassing WFC's farming contractor (Mr. Mel Staats and Ms. Ricki
Staats) potentially delaying WFC's activities heading towards bond release on those lands. We realize full well that this
may trigger yet another citizen's complaint, but felt we literally had no other choice. WFC complained to the farmer
who I believe (though I do not know) terminated the relationship with Turner. I also believe based on second -hand
information that the farmer engaged Buckshot Burbridge to take over such activities in Turner's place, and WFC is fine
with that substitution.
Best regards,
Chris
CHRISTOPHER (CAMPER
CARVER SCHWARZ MCNAB +BAILEY LLC
1600 Stout Street, Suite 1700, Denver CO 80202
direct 303.893.1825 1 main 303.893,1815 1 fax 303.893.1829
ckamper @cksmb.com
If you are not the intended recipient of this email, please delete it from your system immediately.
