The 8.47 acres
disturbed include new roads and/or drill pads that were constructed to complete fifteen (15) methane drainage
wells (MDWs) on eleven (11) new pads (See Table I and 2013 MDW Drilling Roads & Pads). The MDWs
constructed this year were for longwall panels E4 and E5 and included MDWs E4 -15 through E5 -11.
In 2013, MCC plugged and abandoned twenty two (22) MDW's, two (2) monitoring wells and completed
reclamation of eleven (11) MDW sites and associated roads (See Table H and MCC Reclamation 2013 Map).
The 17.33 acres of reclamation included regrading the sites and roads to the approximate original contour, as
well as topsoiling, seeding and mulching. Copies of the seed mix invoices are attached.
This report shows the addition of 7.4 acres (reclaimed in 2003) to the "Greater than 10 years" column and
67.6 acres (SL -04) to the "Phase II release" column.
If you have questions concerning this submittal, or require further information, please contact me at
(970) 929 -2308.
Sincerely,
J sica Loveland, P.E.
Environmental Engineer
cc: W.
