Pineda <br />Director <br />RE: Twentymile Coal Company, Permit C -82 -056 <br />Fourth Quarter 2013 Discharge Monitoring Report Review (Permit CO- 0027154, CO- <br />0036684, CO- 0042161, COG - 850054, COG - 850051) <br />December 2013 Discharge Monitoring Report (CO- 0027154) <br />January 2014 Discharge Monitoring Report (CO- 0027154) <br />Dear Mr. Watterson: <br />The Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining, and Safety (CDRMS) has reviewed and found the <br />above referenced reports to be in compliance with Rule 4.05.13(2). The Fourth Quarter Discharge <br />Monitoring Reports for the above referenced CDPS Permits were received by the Division on 04 and 05 <br />February 2014; the reports cover the time period from 01 October 2013 through 31 December 2013, 01 <br />December 2013 through 31 December 2013 (CO- 0027154), and 01 January 2014 through 31 January <br />2014. <br />Permit CO- 0027154 — During the month of December 2013 no Outfalls flowed. <br />During the month of January 2014 no Outfalls flowed. <br />Outfalls 005A, 005W, MON5, 005Q (Pond D), 006A/006Q (Pond E), and 003A/003Q (Pond B) <br />discharged during the quarter. <br />No exceedances were noted for the quarter or during the months of December 2013 and January 2014. <br />During the fourth quarter 2014 WET tests were collected for Outfalls 005. The tests indicated that the <br />effluent was not acutely toxic to Daphnia magna. <br />Permit CO- 0036684 — Outfall 001A/00IW /MON1 (Site 62) flowed during October and Novemeber <br />during the quarter. No exceedances were noted. <br />During the fourth quarter 2013 WET tests were collected for Outfall 001 A/001 W/MON1.
