I mean, water was -- water was the
very least of our concerns.
When Mr. -- when they walked out in
the field and asked Mr. Morgan how many shares it
took to irrigate his property for the Sunshine, and
it was documented as part of CC ditch records, 50
shares of that portion of the property had been used
for 59 years to irrigate it. There was no reason it
needed more, but if they asked or wanted more, it
was available.
Western Fuels sat right at the table.
We told them, Look, if you need 10 more shares of
water, we'll give you 10 more shares. They refused.
All of this is on tape, by the way. So I have
everything that I have told you on tape, because all
these meetings I have taped every conversation with
Ross Gubka, Sandy Brown, all of them. So I have all
of this documented.
And there was no reason for -- we
shouldn't even have to be here. The only thing we
ever asked of Western Fuels ever, remove the soils,
take your coal, put our soils back, and let's go
back to farming. You guys keep on mining, and that
was the only thing.
