24 <br />1 from December 2009, and then there was an initial <br />2 public comment period following that public notice <br />3 that extended through February 1, 2010. <br />4 The division did receive numerous <br />5 objections to the proposed -- to the permit revision <br />6 application during that time. Included in those <br />7 objections was a request for an informal conference, <br />8 and the division did, indeed, meet in Nucla and host <br />9 an informal conference on February 18 from 4 to 6 <br />10 p.m. <br />11 We held it at the firehouse in the <br />12 town of Nucla. That meeting was attended by about <br />13 40 people. Numerous people spoke their objections, <br />14 and -- property owners as well as members of the <br />15 community. <br />16 And the division incorporated <br />17 those -- many of those public comments into its <br />18 adequacy process. With PR 6 the division actually <br />19 issued a series of five separate adequacy review <br />20 letters, which is probably a little more than usual, <br />21 but this was a very complex revision. <br />22 After each adequacy review letter, <br />23 Western Fuels would respond with their submittal, <br />24 and it was an iterative process that lasted through <br />25 the end of September.
