Natural Soda, Inc. 2013 Project Status Report & Annual Plan of Development 3.1.4 Regulatory Review NSI submitted routine Sundry Notices, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports to appropriate agencies. The following summarizes other regulatory related activities: • NSI did not have to submit permit applications to the Colorado State Office of Engineers for 2013 drilling activities. A permit application was submitted in November of 2013 for the WSW -3 & WSW -4 water wells to be drilled and completed in 2014. • NSI submitted SUP/TLQ permit applications to the Rio Blanco County that were required for drilling operations in completed in 2013. • NSI submitted permit applications to the EPA for the 8H, 9H, and 14H production well pairs in 2013. The 14H -1 permit was approved in early January of 2014. • The BLM APD for the 14H production well pair was submitted September of 2013, and approved in January 2014. NSI submitted BLM APD's for the 8H production pair, 9H production pair, and the DS -7 monitor well in January of 2014. • NSI submitted P &A sundry notices to the BLM & DRMS respectively for the 1 -3A, 88 -1, and the 90 -2. 3.2 Proposed 2014 Activities and Schedule 3.2.2 Well field • NSI will continue limited production in the DVPW in 2014. • The 8H, and 14H production well pairs are planned to be drilled and brought online in 2014. • NSI will drill and complete two new water wells in 2014, the WSW -3, and WSW - 4. Location of these wells is to the north of the plant and can be referenced in Figure 3 and Figure 4. • NSI plans to also drill and complete one new monitor well near the southwest portion of Section 26. This well will be the DS -7 it is shown on Figure 3 of this report. • NSI is not currently planning for any well plugging and abandonment in 2014. DAUB & ASSOCIATES, INC. j� 8 January 2014
