GENERAL MINE PLAN COMPLIANCE: At present two permitting actions are progress: RN-31 - The proposed decision due date has been extended to January 31, 2014. The Division is awaiting a response to the adequacy letter of May 29, 2013. ROADS — Rule 4.03 Construction 4.03.1(3)/4.03.2(3); Drainage 4.03.1(4)/4.03.2(4); Surfacing and Maintenance 4.031. 1(5) and (6)/4.03.2(5) and (6); Reclamation 4.03.1(7)/4.03.2(7): The roads were in good shape around the site. RECLAMATION SUCCESS - Rule 4.15, Rule 3: The results of the 2013 vegetation sampling, conducted by Arcadis, had not yet been sent to NECC. The Division is interested in the sampling results as they will inform any plan to achieve bond release at Lorencito Canyon. It should be noted however, that certain "problem areas" around the site (for example, the steep slope above the road to pond 6) are actively eroding and are not likely to meet the criteria necessary for bond release until significant action is taken. REVEGETATION — Rule 4.15 Vegetative Cover; Timing: There are various areas around the site where erosion was repaired late in 2013, these areas will need to be re- seeded ready for the 2014 growing season.
