The Mine site is a reclaimed <br />surface mine. As such, no mine personnel remain on site. The weather appeared clear in the photographs. The <br />Mine site and the surrounding landscape was snow covered. <br />BACKFILL and GRADING — Rule 4.14 11 Contemporaneous Reclamation 4.14.1; Approximate Original Contour <br />4.14.2; Highwall Elimination 4.14.1(2)(f); Steep Slopes 4.14.2, 4.2% Stabilization of Rills and Gullies 4.14.6: <br />A clear photo of the North Pit shows that YPM 10 and YPM -21 appear stable. No obvious areas of <br />instability were visible from the aerial photos of the North Pit. YPM -9 and YPM -13 looked ok. Contour ditches <br />on the east side of the North Pit appear to be holding up. <br />No problems were observed in the Neck pit area. SP -07 -1 could be seen, and it looked intact. <br />YPM -6 -2 is snow covered. The north side of this drainage area (North Valora Pit) is windswept. No obvious <br />instabilities could be discerned in the photos. The Pond 12 slide repair is bare of snow. <br />No erosional features could be noted on the Pond 12 slide repaired area. <br />HYDROLOGIC BALANCE - Rule 4.05 ❑ Drainage Control 4.05.1, 4.05.2, 4.05.3; Siltation Structures 4.05.5, <br />4.05.6; Diversions 4.05.4; 4.05.8; Impoundments 4.05.6, 4.05.9; Stream Buffer Zones 4.05.18: <br />Pond 011A was frozen but contained a pool of water that was frozen over. <br />Pond 12 A is frozen and appears to have ample storage volume to accept snowmelt runoff. <br />Pond 12 is frozen. <br />GENERAL MINE PLAN COMPLIANCE: <br />Number of Partial Inspection this Fiscal Year: 6 <br />Number of Complete Inspections this Fiscal Year: 2 <br />Page 2 of 5 <br />
