Review of 2011 Annual Reclamation Report
Dear Mr. Savage:
Pursuant to Rule 2.04.13, Annual Reclamation Reports (ARRs) are to be filed each year for all
areas under bond. For the Carbon Junction Mine, Section 2.04.13 of the permit commits the
operator to submitting each year's ARR by February 15 of the following calendar year. The
Division has evaluated the ARR filed for 2011 for compliance with the requirements of Rule
2.04.13. The full text of this rule is provided below, for your ease of reference
2.04.13 Annual Reclamation Report.
(1) By February 15, or other such date as agreed on, each permittee shall file an annual
reclamation report covering the previous calendar year for all areas under bond.
The 2011 ARR was filed on 6- Jan -2012. The ARR is in compliance with the required date
of filing.
The report shall include, but not be limited to, text, discussion and maps which
address:
(a) The name and address of the permittee and permit number;
The 2011 ARR is in compliance with this requirement.
(b) Location and number of acres disturbed during that year;
The 2011 ARR is in compliance with this requirement, stating that no additional
acreage was disturbed during the year.
(c) Location and number of acres backftlled and graded during that year;
The 2011 ARR is in compliance with this requirement, stating that no backjIlling and
grading occurred during the year.
(d) Location and number of acres topsoiled during that year;
The 2011 ARR is in compliance with this requirement, stating that no topsoiling
occurred during the year.
(e) The species, location and number of acres of vegetation planted during that year,
