Wall HGDAL9 chmiatry, in camparieon to CDpto;'s agricultural atar~~+~, indicates that the
measured H ooncentrationa exceeded the 8 atan~+iM of 0.75 mq/1 once, the reported Sa
conoentrationa exceeded the 3a eUn~+=mod of 0.02 mg/1 once, while P4~ concentrations exceeded
the at....~~.,~ of 0.2 mq/1 in nll eight samples collected between 1993 and June 1997. The Mg
concentrations generally exceeded the CDPHE' a Mg a*...a~..~ by an order of magnitude. Well
H®AL3 axoeeded the CDPHE TDS value of 1D, 000 mg/1 for all eight sampling events. In
addition, the TD9 and SO. mncentratians also exceeded the WDEQ guidelines Por all eight
sampling events. The ccmpariaon between CDPEH: agricultural standards and WDEQ guidelines and
concentrations reported in Hf~AL3 samples indicates that the water in well HGIIAI.l is not
suitable for uea as either livestock drinking water or irrigation water. In addition, the SAR
levels ranged fry 12.6 to 16.7 which results in the water receiving a "fair classification"
rating for irrigation use, with the water posing a sodium hazard for the soil.

•
G Q/
13a Revised 2/9H
