APPENDIX 3 -I <br />PERMIT AREA LEGAL DESCRIPTION <br />The permit area is located cast and south of Hayden, Colorado in Routt County, Colorado; the coal handling facility area is <br />approximately M-o miles southeast of Hayden. 'nie USGS 7.5 quadrangle map Mount Harris, Colorado, contains the described area of <br />the site. <br />17me proposed permit area for the Hayden Gulch Loadout contains approximately 1753 acres. Approximately 97.1 acres of the <br />pemtitted area have been affected. No additional disturbances are contemplated at this time for the operational life of the facility (see <br />Exhibit 17- 1).
