PERMIT AREA LEGAL DESCRIPTION
The permit area is located cast and south of Hayden, Colorado in Routt County, Colorado; the coal handling facility area is
approximately M-o miles southeast of Hayden. 'nie USGS 7.5 quadrangle map Mount Harris, Colorado, contains the described area of
the site.
17me proposed permit area for the Hayden Gulch Loadout contains approximately 1753 acres. Approximately 97.1 acres of the
pemtitted area have been affected. No additional disturbances are contemplated at this time for the operational life of the facility (see
Exhibit 17- 1). However. an additional 8.4 acres may be disturbed during reclamation to accommodate Ending activities.
The legal description of the permit area is:
