The mine is a reclaimed surface mine. <br />Several access roads, sediment ponds, stocktanks, permanent drainages, and several facility buildings remain on <br />site. <br />The mine site is snow covered. No personnel remain on the mine site. <br />BACKFILL and GRADING — Rule 4.14 Contemporaneous Reclamation 4.14.1; Approximate Original Contour <br />4.14.2; Highwall Elimination 4.14.1(2)(f); Steep Slopes 4.14.2, 4.27; Stabilization of Rills and Gullies 4.14.6: <br />Site is snow covered, but no signs of mass movement or large erosional features could be discerned from <br />the aerial photos. <br />FISH and WILDLIFE — Rule 4.18: <br />Animal tracks can been seen in the snow at the lower elevations on the mine. <br />HYDROLOGIC BALANCE - Rule 4.05 Drainage Control 4.05.1, 4.05.2, 4.05.3; Siltation Structures 4.05.5, <br />4.05.6; Discharge Structures 4.05.7, 4.05.10; Diversions 4.05.4; Impoundments 4.05.6, 4.05.9; Stream Buffer <br />Zones 4.05.18: <br />All ponds are snow covered and frozen over. <br />Pond 016 was visible and appears to have considerable freeboard to handle snowmelt as it occurs. <br />Stock tanks in Drainage PM -3 appear to be holding up well. <br />No problems were discernible with the drainage or stock tanks in Drainages PM -2A and PM -2B. <br />Stock tanks and drainages appear to be holding up in 006 Gulch and 006 -E 1. <br />Pond 009 was snow covered and frozen.
