MINING PLAN
EXHIBIT C
We will remove approximately 80,000 yards of aggregate from the
mine extending the hole created by past mining.
When mining is complete, we expect to leave the site as it
now exists, without the trees or vegetation. The floor of
disturbed area will be graded so it gently slopes from the mine
face to the road. Mining will be done by using blasting, excava-
tors and dozers to remove the material. It will be processed and
hauled to the project area via an existing road. The RECLAMATION
MAP -E -2 shows how we believe the site will look when mining ends.
On -site equipment may include, but is not limited to, a
motor grader, front -end loaders, track excavator, a dozer, dump
trucks and a water truck.
Some processing will take place on the site. If this is
done, a portable grizzly, crusher and screen plant will be used
so the material meets the specifications required in the con-
tract. The screen plant will be located along the south side in
the old mine area. No chemicals except dust control water and
fuel will be used at the processing plant.
27
