SOIL CONSTRUCTION TESTING FREQUENCY
VOLUME PER TEST'
Tests shall be performed at the specified frequency or one per material type, whichever is greater.
2. Use the USCS for description and identification (ASTM D2488).
In -place Moisture Content.
4. If the permeability of Soil Liner Fill is higher than 9.0x10 -7 cm/sec, an additional permeability test will be
performed on a sample located within a 10 foot radius of the sample in question. If the permeability of the
Soil Liner Fill is higher than 1.0x10 -6 cm/sec, 4 additional samples will be obtained from with 135,000
square foot area centered about the failing test. This testing sequence will be repeated if additional failing
permeability tests are measured.
