Well Intervention Objectives
• Ran cement bond log
Tools: RCBL
2. Well Information
• Borehole Record
N/A
• Casing & Tubing Record
N/A
3. Logging Information
• Logged Date: July 20, 2013
• Logged Interval: surface -1920'
• Log Engineer: L. Kairis
4. Conclusion
Cement Bond Evaluation:
In the interpretation of the bond in this well, the free pipe located between 300' to 350'
was used for comparison and calibration (figure 1). The bond above the free pipe at 300' -350'
could possibly be from an outside casing such as the conductor casing (figure 4). Although there
is some bond above, top of cement is at 915' (figure 2). Between 700' to 900' there is a possible
channel (figure 3). Between 915' to 1540' the bond is good, evident in the strong attenuation of
the signal and the appearance of formation signal at some points (figure 5). Past 1540' the bond
becomes less but still quite fair (figure 6).
