January 14, 2014 C- 1981 - 010 /Trapper Mine <br />JLE <br />Grouse No. 1 pond was holding a small amount of water. The pond was viewed from the ridge above. The <br />embankments was partially covered with snow but appeared stable. The primary and emergency spillway <br />appeared clear and functional. <br />Grouse No. 2 pond was holding some snow but overall appeared dry. The embankment was partially snow <br />covered but appeared stable. <br />Sage ponds were inaccessible due to the deep snow conditions. <br />Oak No. 1 pond was holding water but was not discharging. The embankment was snow covered and appeared <br />stable. The primary and emergency spillways was snow covered but appeared functional. <br />Oak No. 2 pond was not discharging. The embankment was snow covered but appeared stable. <br />The Middle Pyeatt ponds were observed from the access road. All of the ponds were snow covered but did not <br />appear to be holding water. The embankments were snow covered and appeared stable. The primary and <br />emergency spillways were snow covered but appeared functional. <br />East Middle Flume pond was snow and ice covered. The primary and emergency spillways were snow covered <br />but appeared functional. The embankment was snow covered but appeared stable. <br />East Flume pond was snow covered but did not appear to be holding standing water. The embankment was snow <br />covered but appeared stable. The primary and emergency spillway was snow covered but appeared functional. <br />Horse Gulch pond, did not appear to be discharging. The pond was snow and ice covered. The embankment was <br />snow covered and stable. The primary and emergency spillway was snow covered but appeared functional. <br />Impoundment H was snow and ice covered. The primary spillway was clear and functional. The pond was not <br />discharging. <br />GENERAL MINE PLAN COMPLIANCE: <br />D pit was observed and no problems were noted. The pit is sitting inactive at this time. <br />East A Pit is inactive. The pit is holding water. Trapper was not actively dewatering the pit at the time of the <br />inspection. <br />The Baby Doe dragline was sitting idle. <br />It appeared the Molly Brown and the Queen Anne draglines were operating at the time of the inspection. <br />Number of Partial Inspection this Fiscal Year: 5 <br />Number of Complete Inspections this Fiscal Year: 2 <br />Page 4 of 14 <br />
