Dear Ms. Burgmaier:
The DRMS' letter dated June 3, 2013 requested additional information. On behalf of Bowie
Resources, LLC, enclosed is the requested data.
During the Adequacy response it was determined that at this time, using co\erfill as an alternate
to topsoil is no longer required. Therefore, parts of this revision will be withdrawn. No updates
to pages 2.04 -101 & 102, 2.05 -50 will be required. Volume IX, Appendix A has been revised as
well as pages 14 -15 per DRMS request in number 5.
The Volume IX text and Map -32 will be undergoing two revisions at the same time, this revision,
and TR -85. To make sure changes from both are incorporated into the permit, the next revision
submitted will combine changes from both revisions to ensure inclusion of changes from both
revisions.

4. DRMS: BRL, in response to DRMS adequacy concerns, indicates that only coverfill
material was placed on the gob pile #1 and the first bench of gob pile #2 and that no topsoil
is intended to be replaced in these areas. However, during the May 30, 2013 meeting at
DRMS it was stated that some topsoil has been placed on these benches. BRL was unable
to indicate the depth or location of topsoil that was replaced on these areas. Given the
"coverfill" samples were taken from the first bench of gob pile #2 to justify its use as a soil
