iw9wim
State.co.us Executive Branch Mail - Re: Decision Dates and Extensions
From: Musick - DNR, Jason [ mailto :Jason.musick@state ®co ®us]
Sent: Thursday, December 26, 2013 7:32 AM
To: Nettleton, Jerry
Cc: Watterson, Brian
Subject: Decision Dates and Extensions
Morning Jerry and Happy Holidays!
wanted to let you know that the Decision date for MR272 is today (12/26) nad the Decision date for MR269 is
tomorrow. looks like we are still waiting on right -of -entry information for MR272 and MR269 is ready to go.
However, I am out of the office until Monday, 12/30, and I am not sure if Dan is in the office to sign the
Decision form. As such, would you please submit an extension request for both MR's. Like I mentioned, I am
going to try to get a Decision out for MR269 today, but I am not sure on personnel in the office.
am copying Brian on this email in case you may be out of the office this week.
On another note, I noticed this article in the Denver Post, one of the sentences states: "In Routt County near
Steamboat Springs, Peabody Energy has backed off plans to develop a new tunnel to access a new coal
source now that supplies are dwindling at the company's Twentymile mine."
Do you know what this sentence is referring to? Does this sentence mean that TCC has decided to shelve its
plan to ramp down from the Wadge seam to the Wolf Creek seam at the Foidel Creek Mine? Or does this
sentence mean that Peabody has decided to shutter the Sage Creek Mine?
Thanks,
Jason
Jason khisick
llern,er, 1, 80203
303 -866 -3567, Extension 8134
303 -332 -8106 t:: cr x,
Jason. rnusick @state. co. us
https: / /mail.g oog le.conVmai I / ?ui =2 &i Ir454642l a5a &vi eve pt &search =i nbox&th= 1432fab9Oc3abcd8 2/3
