Environmental Protection Specialist Colorado Department of Natural Resources Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety Office of Mined Land Reclamation 1313 Sherman Street, Room 215 Denver, Colorado 80203 Re: Supplemental Information - Permit Tower and Dear Mr. Cazier: RECEIVED DEC 2 6 2013 DMSION OF RECLAMATION MINING AND SAFETY 1 RrIlM As per our previous correspondence of December 9, 2013, CC &V proposes Technical Revision No. 69 ( "TR -69 ") to Amendment No. 10 of Permit M -1980 -244 ( "AM10 "), to authorize relocating a radio relay tower from the South Cresson portion of the Main Cresson mining area to Squaw Mountain, just north of the city of Victor. This relocation of the existing radio relay tower was not included in the original application for AM 10. In response to your correspondence of December 16, 2013 on TR -69 and subsequent phone conversations on the need to exchange an equivalent parcel from the disturbed category to compensate for the new tower site please find enclosed with this letter our Request for the Partial Release of Permitted Area, Exhibit 1 which shows the 0.5 acre release area and 3 updated copies of permit drawing C -4 showing the revised line of the South Cresson minus the 0.5 acres, the radio tower and an updated key which includes the VLF boundary. We believe that the enclosed application will meet the need DMRS identified to swap an equivalent amount of land from the existing disturbed category to cover the 0.41 acres needed for the radio tower, which while outside the disturbed area of the South Cresson portion of the Main Cresson mining area is within the AM 10 boundary.
