Based on that <br />knowledge, care will be taken during mining activities to be aware of the potential for <br />unidentified cultural resources. <br />In the event that human remains are discovered in the course of mining activities, the <br />requirements of State Law C.R.S. 24 -80 (part 13) will be followed, beginning with <br />immediate notification of such discovery to the Mesa County Sheriff and the Mesa <br />County Coroner as well as to the US Bureau of Land Management, the surface <br />landowner. <br />Again, thank you for sending Mr. Nichols' comments and consultation on behalf of <br />History Colorado.
